Being Estella-Lizarra a “City of the Way”, it is possible to arrive here as a pilgrim, walking or by bike. Inside the denominated “French Way”, Estella-Lizarra is the end of the fifth stage (22 kilometers) that starts in Puente la Reina.
Estella-Lizarra appears as an unbeatable place to rest, in order to make a stop for more than a day and to immerse in the gastronomy, culture and history of the city.

A lot of pilgrims take Estella-Lizarra as one of the most important stops of the Saint James Way, especially, as a cultural one.
